Depending on the number of implants and the kind of surgery a patient receives, the dental implant procedure can last anywhere from an hour to a half day appointment.

Some implant procedures are a big process taking months, but we believe that you should be able to have a new smile when YOU want. Whenever you set the appointment is when you will have your new teeth!

We recommend the following steps for your daily home care hygiene routine around your full mouth immediate teeth and supporting dental tooth implant:

1. Brushing
2. Use a Waterpik®
3. Use a Rubber Tip Gum Stimulator

During the first four weeks, we recommend soft foods. Any kind of food which don’t require a lot of chewing forces, such as: over-cooked pasta, mashed potato, risotto, puree of vegetables and, thin fish.

Following four weeks, you can add thicker food like drumsticks and salmon to your diet. After eight weeks, you can try very tender beef or lamb.

Throughout the first eight weeks of your healing, it is important to avoid the following foods: bread with hard crust, crouton, salad, hard steamed vegetable, sticky candies like taffy, pretzels, and nuts.
