What we are based on

The American Institute of Implant Dentistry (AIID) has been training dentists and oral surgeons for 27 years to improve the field of full mouth implant dentistry. Many dentists and oral surgeons have learned from AIID's full mouth dental implant courses. The AIID Faculty Practice provides full mouth dental implant therapy to patients from all over the world and in all 50 states. The practice specializes in full mouth implant treatments like All on 4™ and teethXpress™, and strives to make the transition into a new life as seamless as possible.

Dr. Shafie is the Founder and Chief Knowledge Officer of AIID. With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Shafie is an internationally renowned lecturer in the field of implant dentistry, recognized for his innovative and fun teaching style. He trained many dentists to carry on his legacy with the principle he has. He is also the founder of the Center for Oral Implantology at Johns Hopkins University and has authored several books on the subject. Though he is retired, he is happy to provide assistance for patients coming to AIID Faculty Practice.

AIID Faculty Practice is now accepting new patients who need full mouth dental implants. Our experienced oral surgeons will plan and perform your treatment from start to finish. Your treatment journey will begin with Dr. Saltman, who is an expert in oral and maxillofacial surgery and works at our office. Our office was based on AIID, and we now offer our Faculty Practice to patients. Faculty are leaders of the institute and give you surgery and treatment. Served as Faculty, Dr. Saltman and Dr. Shafie can help patients with a variety of full mouth dental implant therapy. We want to ensure that our patients have a comfortable, seamless, and predictable process for regaining their quality of life. You are not just a number. We care quality not quantity.

It is important to note that our office does not have any students or residents working with patients. Our highly skilled and experienced dentists provide all patient care.
